If they turn out good call it the Blondie. If they turn out bad call it the Angel Eyes. If they turn out ugly call it the Tuco.

    I suggest:

    "The ALAMO", or,
    "The TEXICAN.

Reason being, the Texican motley crew that fought a superior enemy in 1836, that defined a most inspirational, independent frontier spirit, paying the utmost price, their lives, dying with their gunstocks clutched under their arms.

FYI, though Tejanos and volunteers from the United States and other countries fought alongside the white settlers of Texas against the Mexican troops of General Antonio López de Santa Anna, as a whole they were known as the Texian Army.

The “Norris” this knife doesn’t actually cut anything, it just gets scared and moves out of the way.

My all time favorite rifle stock is the full length ... "Mannlicher". Always wanted one of those for a short barreled Ruger No.1 carbine ... this thread got me thinking - I think I'll have to remedy that

OK, a lot of good names. Here or my choices:

    3rd: XCaliber
    2nd: Carbine
    1st: Recoil

Whoever was the first to recommend "Recoil"; PM me.

Many thanks to everyone that played.

    Fitting name, and looks like @JohnDF was the first to come up with that seen in this post;

searching I found three instances of that name posted, but John's was the first.

I did the same thing and I agree. John was the first to post in post #57 at 2:40pm Central Time on Wednesday.

Congratulations John! That's a great name for this knife!

I'm still out. "Break Action" in remembrance/binor of all those break open/folding single shot rifles and shotguns, side by sides, over-unders, and drillings.
    The knife folds too, right?

O.K. I'll shut up and get lost.

Oh my goodness... I am so excited!!!
I sat out of the run because i didn't want to fight for one.
Now, I'm excited to be getting one in my collection. Awesome! Thank you so much, Mike.

Hmmm.......I did a little searching and I think this Gunstock might be made under the Fox brand, not Lion Steel. Nothing wrong with that at all. Just wanted to point out that I may have jumped the gun.
