GAW - New Knives! Round 5 of Mr knifes never ending giveaway/passaround/swap funtime

This is Round 5 of a creative GAW/Passaround/TravelingSwapMeet started by mrknife back in July.

I've copied,pasted and edited much of what's been already posted and the Frankenstein-ian text appears below.

rye_a was the lucky winner of Round 1. He selected a Hen and Rooster coffin jack as his prize, replaced it with a Case Sodbuster Jr, and started Round 2 in August.
5K Qs was the lucky winner of Round 2. He selected a Case Sodbuster Jr and added a Victorinox Hardwood Spartan and a Rough Rider Stag Canoe.
kysteve was the lucky winner of round 3. He added a Taylor Schrade single blade sheepsfoot electricians knife/pruner and a Marbles TL-29 style electrician knife.
I was the lucky winner of Round 4. I chose the Rough Rider Stag Canoe, Schatt and Morgan and Rough Rider Coke Bottle and added a Rough Rider Dogleg Jack with sheath, Rough Rider sawcut peanut, Imperial Kamp King and a Case Medium Executive to the box.

Anyone who entered Round 1, 2, 3 or 4 (and didn't win) is automatically entered in this round without having to re-post (unless you went missing from the list... :foot:). They are listed below with their numbers for the random drawing. New entries will be assigned (their post number) + 23 as their numbers for the drawing (since I think we lost a few along the way).
I see no reason that past winners couldn't hop back on if they wanted and have something new to share.

Doing another GAW but this one is a little different. I'd sort of like this to be more of a pass around/pay it forward.

Im going to put all of these in a box and ship to one winner. They may not like all the knives in there or they may. If they do, the giveaway ends there I suppose. But if they don't, I hope they swap the knife they want for a knife or knives they have in their collection that they'd like to pass on to some one else who may find it more enjoyable via a similar giveaway. It'll be on an honor system and I have faith in all of you :thumbup: It's a variety pack of knives in different costs, so I'm sure everyone will get something they enjoy and want to give a new home.

In order to be considered, please fulfill any of these conditions:
1. be a known member of the Porch (at least a decent amount of meaningful contribution via content or conversation)
2. have donated to the St.Judes Charities/or Bob (hang in there buddy, hope you are doing ok!)
3. have done any sort of giveaway

There's an Uncle Henry stockman that's a USA made user and a A Wright & Sons from the birthplace of pocket knives, Sheffield England. It looks practically new and has roughly a "bear trap" pull. It opens like cheapskates wallet and closes like a ... well a bear trap.
I snatched the Schatt and Morgan (half railsplitter / gunstock?) Because I've never owned a Schatt or a Queen and love chunky knives and orange. It called to me.

To balance the karma I added a vintage Kamp King that's in great shape for its age and mostly unused that I can tell.
It's a shell handled beauty and I know some folds are really intro camp knives and this one is legit.

If you all think I need to pony up again to be fair let me know.

Since all these recent additions are without boxes, I can wedge them into the crevices left between the existing packaged knives but know that the box is pretty darn full now so it'll be lots of fun for the winner!

I'd like to give everyone a chance to get in so I'll let this run until Black Friday or until interest wanes.


Just say "I'm in" to be added to the list.
If you want to tell us all which knives you're pining for and what you'd toss in the box as a replacement then have at it. It's a good way to keep the thread going and garner more interest.

This sounds like fun. I would like to be in. I hope I've contributed good things to the porch. I have donated to st Jude's this year but I can't seem to find the tax receipt. Which is weird cause I keep everything together. If that's a problem, I understand. And I just did a gaw about 2 weeks ago.

Glad this is still going! I would think keeping it in a medium flat rate box would be best so maybe do some trading/arranging? I have the perfect knife in mind to add to the box if I happen to win:)

Neko, glad you're keeping this going! :thumbup::thumbup:
Another option to make everything fit is to just claim another knife for yourself if there's one you like! ;)
Hope you like that RR stag canoe; not the best stag in the world, but I sure like the one I have.

Just to make sure everyone knows that you only have to meet one of the criteria to enter, not all three.
I'll keep the entry open until the peanut arrives or black Friday if it's hoppin'.

Updated the list and will hold the box until BigBiscuit's knives show up.
I reserve the right to adjust my pick in lieu of what arrives. I promise not to take them all :p
