GAW - New Knives! Round 5 of Mr knifes never ending giveaway/passaround/swap funtime

Good questions, Rachel. ;)
I was thinking about this traveling GAW/passaround/swapmeet just the other day, and couldn't even remember its current status (and was apparently too lazy/busy to search for the thread). Did the "treasure chest" arrive safely at T.L.E. Sharp's place? Has he started a 6th round in a new thread? Be kind of a shame if the process fizzled out here. :(

It finally crossed my mind while at the computer, and yeah, I had to search a while. (you sure get a lot of results searching "GAW" in the traditional forum. :D).
I really do hope Robert is OK. Looks like he hasn't posted since his car accident.
 
Perhaps someone who knows T.L.E. could pm him and ask about the status of this project? Just a thought.

I heard from him right after he received the box and he told me which knives he was keeping and was thinking about what to add. I would assume he was getting a few of them nice and scary sharp as well but after that first communication I was unable to get an answer back. I didn't pester but was planning on following up again if nothing happened.

So to summarize:

1) He has the box
2) He picked knives and was getting set to get it up and going again
3)I haven't heard back on my most recent message ( about a month ago).

I hope he's ok.

I could be mistaken (happens all the time) but it appears that the state of this GAW is currently in limbo with some concerns regarding the well being of certain participants.
 
I contacted T.L.E. Sharp and he has been really busy with work but he assured me he would have the GAW back up and running by first of next week at the latest. We do probably need to put some time frames in the rules from here out. Also some rules to limit this to the Porch participants.
