It goes without saying that there is a tremendous amount of generosity here, folks looking out for each other, giving heads up when a knife someone is hunting for pops up, and passing along deals. Heck, 90% of my collection is made up of knives others have led me too or sold me from their collection.

With the holidays coming up and knowing you all are maybe passing up on knives for yourselves so you can spend that money on a loved one I felt it was time for a GAW :)

This is open to anyone, anywhere. I'll let this run until black Friday(11/28) @ 2PM EST

Just say "I'm In" and you are in, maybe to make it a little more fun post a picture of a knife too(Traditionals only please :) ).

1st place: GEC Crown Lifter in Rust Red Bone

2nd,3rd and 4th place: Rough Rider Elephant toenail(New), Rough Rider Lock back Canoe(New), Imperial USA Barlow(slightly Used) I will let the winners pick they're prize. 2nd place will get first pick, 3rd place second pick and 4th will get what is left.

I really like the format you're using. Earlier this week I was thinking about how I could run a GAW, and decided I'd probably give the winner the chance to choose from 3 or 4 knives - sort of a Ladies'/Gentlemen's Choice idea. Anyway, thanks for your generosity, and good luck to everyone!

Oh, yeah, a picture. Here's an old knife my wife found and gave to me last January. For some reason, it inspired me to start carrying a knife again, and as my wife says, "go off the deep end" in terms of a new hobby! :D No regrets, though!

What a generous giveaway Jon, some fantastic knives which are sure to make 4 lucky forumites very happy indeed. It really is a pleasure to be able to hang out here with you great folks. I've been the recipient of a great deal of kindness and generosity here, and have also been fortunate enough to win a few giveaways. I'd be happier sitting back and seeing others be the recipients of your generosity Jon, so if you don't mind I'll pass. Thank you very much for doing this, and thanks to all the other regulars here who make The Porch the great place it is :thumbup:
