Am I crazy? Why do people think the GB isn't a slicer? Or has a thick tip? It has a thinner edge than the Para 2 and the tip was needle like on mine. Exactly what a slicer needs.

my thoughts are the PM2 with the M4 steel would be more of a collectable item! as i have never owned a gayle bradley before but have read about it,i think also the PM2 would be a better cutter/slicer,you probably would be better off owning the PM2 in the long run!also spyderco (i don't think) will make the PM2 with M4 in it forever! they tend to stay with the better steels these days, let us no witch one you get.

Not crazy. I'm beginning to think that some peeps believe that FFG automatically makes a knife a better slicer. The GB's blade stock is thinner than the PM2's, and the hollow grind is quite good, and high. I had Josh if REK regrind one of my GBs, and it was a scary laser. I'd trust the GB's tip, however, any day over the PM2's.

Right or wrong, the first thing I thought of when I saw this was the phrase "A 1911 is what you show your friends, a Glock is what you show your enemy."

A PM2 sprint will have a cool factor and will be fun to carry. I am willing to bet that the GB2 will be a better workhorse though.

Nicely put. Every once in a while I'll find myself wanting a Millie or PM2 in M4 and then I think "why?" I've already got a GB. A knife that was designed around an M4 blade.

I've had multiple GB's and PM2's. I vote for the PM2. The GB is a great knife, but definitely a "work-knife" and a little too heavy and heavy-duty for me. Of course, the GB2 will be smaller, thinner, lighter and will be fun to check it out.
OTOH, I love the PM2 and the compression lock...it's a joy.
