Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2 - custom snakewood scales by Suingab
I love Gayle Bradley’s knife designs, and in fact, the GB Air (my wedding day carry) is going to be my Bradley keeper. I was initially thinking this GB2 wasn’t going to go anywhere, as well, but I've decided to stick to my ruthless cut-down mentality to raise funds for other endeavors. This GB2 features amazing custom snakewood scales by Suingab, a great eastern European maker of knife scales. I also got a black anodized Ti Lynch NW deep carry clip, which is included, but liked the knife with the original black standard Spyderco clip better, for some reason. The original CF/G10 "ply" scales are also included.
I originally used knife oit and recently EDCi formula on the M4 steel blade; however, it still managed to get a little bit of patina around the spidey logo and the top of the swedge, but nothing too bad. I actually kinda like it. Otherwise, condition is great. I sharpened it nicely to about 17 degrees each side with a TSProf Kadet sharpening system and Venev Orion stones down to 1200 grit and have kept the blade stropped.
