Gayle Bradley or PM2

Lol looks like I'm getting both. Is there anyone in my area that would be kind enough to let me handle them? (If you have them of course)

Let us know what you think of each when you get them. In dress clothes the Paramilitary 2 is a little slimmer, but I have carried both in all types of clothing. You'll see that the Gayle Bradley is more of a hard use knife. The Paramilitary 2 is no slouch either. The latter has a lot of options for customization and blade steel.

The Bradley is one heck of a knife... I HAD two. Sold them both as the knife as an EDC is heavy!

I carry a lighter Manix 2CF S90V and a newer Para 2. Much lighter and the Para 2 is slimmer.

If you're going to 'admire' the knife... get the Bradley.

If you want a carry knife and a user... get the PM2.

I find the opposite. To me the Gayle Bradley isn't a knife that you sit around and fondle and flip (even though I do :p) its a user for sure. The PM2 while also being user, has more of a fondle and flip feel to it. Probably the compression lock (similar to how you can open-close-open-close an axis lock) that adds to that feeling.

I would go with the GB, its awesome!

I'll be going with the PM2 probably some time in the new year. Funds don't allow any more purchases for a while plus I just want to use what I have already.

Gayle Bradley, unless you really can't handle a few more ounces.

Fit and finish is better, steel is better, cutting geometry is better, construction is better.

The Paramilitary 2 is lighter. That's it.

GB has a nice interesting blade steel. But PM2 has got a design to it (could not find on GB): so I would take PM2!

I favor a Ti Military over any other Spyderco also, but that wasn't an option for the OP. Maybe the 4" blade is too long for where he is.

How does the Military compare to the PM2 as far as comfort in your pocket?

The Military is awesome in pocket! Between the light weight (4oz) and the way both the handle and clip are gently curved, it creates an incredibly comfortable carry

My favorite Spyderco as well, great knife!

I've seen very few pics of a Bradley that has seen any use at all!

And I do agree that the Bradley with the M4 steel and liner lock is one strong knife!

However. .. there is an almost two ounce difference in weight and in the pocket, on an everyday basis, that's a lot to most folks.

If you're not going to carry it... and not really use it... the Bradley becomes a really nice showpiece.

The Para2... is going to get used... assuming it's carried more... as it's quite a bit lighter.

The blade is excellent, lock is very strong, it's thin, light and many think the Para2 is the ideal EDC.

Mine has been used much harder than I'd be comfortable using a Para 2

The GB has the best fit and finish of any production folder I have ever owned. It's ridiculously smooth and the liner lock isn't difficult to operate contrary to another opinion stated. The blade shape is amazing and m4 is some of the greatest stuff on the planet.

I prefer my Military over the PM2, but do own a GB and it is a brilliant knife. The F&F is absolutely insane and M4 is an amazing steel, that if taken care of will stay rust free.

Before I read this thread I was going PM2. Now it's PM2, Military, or GB. The only way I'll be able to make a decision is if I go to the factory in CO and try them all. Is this possible?
