Gayle Bradley vs Stretch 2 CF...

Well KC is not the best knife vendor I can order from. Apparently KC won't ship folding knives to New York State and I was informed my order was canceled. I don't know why as there is no NYS law banning folding knives, but it could involve the NYC retailers who got fined for selling "illegal knives"... God I hate my state.

I think, unfortunately, that you're going to find that most knife vendors currently will not ship to NYS. I haven't paid close attention, but I know I've seen that posted on many websites. :(

What a bunch of crap. I hope Kniferights continues their campaign against the unconstitutional amount of restrictions in NYS so maybe this self imposed embargo will be lifted. Luckily Knifeworks still ships to me so I'll probably end up getting the GB and the Stretch at some point from there.

I got a Stretch FRN 97g & i got a Gayle Bradley 143g.
For opening i prefer the Stretch FRN for simple reason on the GB you should point your tip thumb in the Spydie hole. On the Stretch just put your thumb on the hole.
Feeling of the "snap" liner lock on the GB is a very good feeling!
I love those two knife.

The CF Stretch was NOT discontinued it was the blue FRN with ZDP and the serrated and combo models in VG10. Just trying to clarify things. Which reminds me I want one of those blue stretch as well as a Chinook 3 that was discontinued.

I was told by a premium dealer that was told by his Spyderco rep. He just confirmed that it is NOT on the 2011 price list.

I have both the CF Stretch and the Chinook III. I think they make a great pair. If you like one, you should like the other.

Knifecenter has had the CF Stretch showing up discontinued for a little while now.

I love both, but the GB gets more pocket time.

Good choice on the CF S90V Para 2. It very well could be the consumate EDC as a general rule. World class blade steel, world class scale material, world class manufacturer and a world class locking mechanism all wrapped up into a very thin, very light EDC knife with ideal EDC blade length and ideal EDC handle ergos - all according to me of course :D

This knife could possibly blow the CF Stretch out of the water using the Stretch's own rules.

Not only do all the attributes add up to a winner on paper and in real life but it appears to be very strong as well. The bolster plate portion of the nested scales near the lock release tab beef everything up around the pivot as well. This is not a weak knife.
