I asked about a month ago about my GB Hunters ax that chipped. Well, the sent me a new one about a week after recieving the broken one from me. Quick question though, my old ax had hickory wood, and this one is notg marked hickory like the last one. Do they not mark them anymore, or is the wood not hickory. Thanks

I am sure that your new one have a hickory handle to.
Can be that this handle not have the mark but the company that make the handle for Gb use hickory to all handle for the Swedish makers. If they don´t use Wetterligs now when they are the same company .Wetterling was the only axe maker that make there own handle. But I think that they also use only hickory.
