GBU-It doesn't get much uglier than this...especially if this were YOUR sales thread.

Do some of the member's here bother to think, before they post?!? This has to go down as thee most insulting offer I have ever witnessed, & the fact that it was posted directly in the sales thread, instead of via a PM...WOW!

Would you take $50 for the Sibert.
Also $20 for the Griptillian?

I have asked for a lower than posted offer but never 30-40% of asking price. That's just...it would be ignorable if it weren't so bad.

Tell us there is a back story.

It may be a joke, but the Exchange is for business. And the two who commented on the lowball in the thread were equally wrong. All moved offline.

Man if I had the money I would buy both in a heartbeat. Great prices on both. The offer was clearly a joke or by somebody who just banged their head pretty good. I had an offer as bad (worse, really) when I was trying to trade a $110-120 knife. I got an offer of a pretty heavily used Kershaw Tremor (I had said no serrations... it was serrated). That was the first time I just couldn't be polite in response to an offer. I held back language, but I said something along the lines of "You are kidding, right?" Some people have 0 Google-fu skills.

Happens left and right these days. I am not sure if people are getting numb to the idea that a typing something insulting or stupid still counts. I had a trade where the guy legit asked me if I would trade my SMF for his Spydie Tuff. I did hold back the language but obviously it was ridiculous. His reply was that it was a hopeful long shot. I would expect this from an 8 year old, maybe a deluded teen looking for a handout. But from a grown man? It's just sad. As much as I wanted to chew the guy out all I had was disgust and pity.

Maybe he got really confused and meant $50 for the Grip and $120 for the MPR? For the asking price those would be somewhat reasonable.
