Hey everyone

I have been lurking for a few weeks so though it was about time I posted something.

I have been looking for a good wilderness knife for a while, I actually bought an Ontario TAK-1 however it was just a bit too large for what I was really after. After finding this forum I just had to try out a RAT so (after selling the TAk-1 to raise some funds) I now have an RC-4, RC-3 and an izula (couldn't make up my mind so just bought all three).

I bought the RC-4 and izula for when I'm hiking and camping. I'm also in the infantry in the aussie army reserve and have found the RC-3 is the perfect size to fit in my webbing.

So far I am extremely happy with my purchases (especially the RC-4 which is my favorite). I notice some people find the handle on the RC-4 too short but for me the fit in my hand is perfect!

Here are a couple of pics

Welcome from another Aussie RAT fan. Nice pics, and thank you for your service, reserve or otherwise.

Welcome aboard!

We like Australians -- they're like Canadians from the south!!

And that's when the fight started. . .

Great to see another Aussie! I'm gonna do reserves when I'm 17 next year, better than any part time jobs!

Way to go... I like the way you think!

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the family and congrats on your new Izula, RC-3, and RC-4! I'm sure you'll love it around here.

Thank you for the nice pictures - good job with a trap, awesome knives, and beautiful nature! Did you catch anything?
