Nope, not one of mine, I asked the same question early in the thread. :)

It looks like a Mikeymoto, but dont quote me on that.

G'day guys and THANK YOU for the warm welcome.

Sorry for the lack of info in my last post, i was rather... pissed after drinking quite a bit of whiskey and watching some of my DMB dvd's in memory of the great Lerio Moore.

SIR Jerry or Boss as they seem to call you, im blown away by your acknowledgment's. It really made my day and i really appreciate the kind words from everyone. I believe im the 3rd or 4th owner of the knife. The first however to sheath it. The day this one arrived i planned to make this one my #1 fixed blade knife. I will carry it with me whenever i head bush.

Please as i said above if you or any other whiskey or busse loving member here are ever downunder...

Now, to the topic of much question, the knife is a HOGFSH DC with an MP45/ Giraffe Bone bolstered handle made i think for one of the 2006 shows? Jerry or one of the previous owners might be able to clarify.

The sheath was made to my specifications by none other then a really great bloke - Jeff @ Rainwalker creations. I had 4 on order like this for different Busses, ive received 2 of them thus far one being the sheath above. The sheath was made WITHOUT the knife, Jeff only had some photos of the knives and photos of my sketches.

The Macallan... (provided were talking 18yo and above - (the cask strength being my fav of that distillery)) is another fine whiskey. Trust me tho... the bottle above is a good one, a very very good one. Im quite a fan of the 60% + stuff from any of the distilleries, its somewhat hard to find around my neck of the woods.

Thanks again guys and ill be sure to keep you updated on my travels with this knife by my side.

thanks again,
kind regards
Travis.

Great first post and great offer of hospitality if anyone goes down under. Oh and great whiskey too.

Sweet pics !!!! Thanks for sharing!
Those make for a very nice combo.
Keep em' coming! Cheers Travis!!!

Rainwalker! :) Thanks for the info Travis! :D Jeff is getting better and better.

Sorry for the lack of info in my last post, i was rather... pissed after drinking quite a bit of whiskey and watching some of my DMB dvd's in memory of the great Lerio Moore.

Man, I had no idea Lerio had died. Terrible news, I knew he was in an accident this summer(all terrain I think), but had no idea he had died.
Think I'll go put on my DMB Live at the Rocks DVD.

Amy-O is a big fan of DMB, I wonder if she knows yet.

That looks great and reminds me I have a sheath on order from rainwalker.
A black trim with brown marble ostrich inlay.

Jerry I heard you like a good Whiskey... and i know you make a good knife.

If you ever come downunder for a holiday... please make sure you look me up :)

Ill make it worth your while :D

That goes for any other Busse fans out there. Ive been a member her for years, tho never really had the urge to post, but i thought after waiting 6 months for these pants id share a couple of photos with everyone.

Kind regards
Travis.

Hi, Travis. Welcome to Bladeforums. I guess I'm kind of a lurker myself most of the time myself...:o I need to get on here more and get more involved, I hang out over on the Scrap Yard forum most of the time though, hard to find time for all the forums, just too busy.

Wow!!! Those pics sure look great! I love that knife and appreciate you showing off my handy work too, you sure make it look good in your pics! I can't wait to hear about your adventures with that awesome blade!

Thanks guys for all the complements on the sheath...:o
