I like it. A federal shield on a small jack knife is pretty traditional.

It certainly is well done. To me it just looks like a badge, and with the blue makes it look like a police knife. And that’s fine, but doesn’t connect for me personally. For those with maybe a family connection, it would be pretty cool.

Ah, I see what you mean. I'm so used to seeing federal shields on old knives, I didn't make a connection with the color. Could be a Union Blue.

Having a modest budget, both financial and time-wise, I'm very happy to land just one example of a run. I think I chose a nice variety.

I don't have many safe queens, but I don't know if I'll carry the #14 Barlow. Maybe if I ever wear out the Boker.

Oh, no. I mean, you wouldn't want to shank a dude with it, but for normal pocketknife stuff it's perfect.

I've only carried the clip version extensively, but I expect the sheepfoot to act in a similar fashion.
