GEC 215124 Farm & Field Bull Buster

My parcel is still held. Gave CBSA (customs) a call and they provided an e-mail to contact the place.
They also told me there is no deadline by which they have to act, that it usually takes 15 days afterwhich they provide the email like they did for me.
Emailed them about knowing their folding knives policy and that my order reflects it and that it's non locking 2h open.
Got a response back next day asking for pictures or links. Then replied:
"We have made note of your knife details. We will have our weapons unit conduct a search for your parcel to have it examined. "
Also said 3 to 5 business days.
Been waiting this long already so I'm happy. They been pretty nice saying good morning back to me :)
Hopefully they don't marvel at the feast for too long and once in my possession it will get proper picture footage taken.
I think I would've asked them "Now what's this all about, eh?" 🤣🍁

Received it on 29th actually. Was a good Monday for me.
Had to get the black version to match the Case. I love it, but probably gonna send it to factory because the pivot spins around and there is horizontal play.
I can kind of mask this issue by getting it turned into a position where it's tight, but I'd like it to be solid like my small 71 the "bear trap".

I’ve been using my orange Delrin pretty much daily, the 21 is big enough to be good with food prep. Added bonus is the kind of patina that forms from cutting meat, pork always gives a really nice blue for a couple days before fading. I may have to pull out some trade fodder for a backup.IMG_5976.jpeg

I had blade wrap issues that I've been able to solve by putting two pieces of regular paracord inside. I took strands out from paracord. Bottom layer is a bit longer than top layer.
The 71 I have is much stronger with its snap and there is a small paracord that fits perfectly into that one also. Been testing more so with 71 and am pleased with the results.
Went further and added food safe oil to paracord with a needle applicator to keep the very edge corrosion free and high speed\ low drag :)

Originally, when knife is closed you can push on the blade quite a bit before it gets to the backspring, so there is space there and the blade slows down quite a bit and just needs a bit of cushioning.
This 1095 gets really sharp, nicked myself twice already playing with the small guy, but the paracord inside is holding.
I fitted longer pieces of paracord in first, they were sticking out from the back. Made sure everything is straight/not twisted, the blade closes well, then pulled a bit from the back to cut to length.
It's easy to move it around once inside and it stays put in there, pick your color.

This is a great knife and I've had it in my side pocket almost exclusively since it came through the door. Very glad I held out for one.

One thing though, It just won't stay sharp very long! It came with a burr on it which I took off. Seems like it needs touched up way too often.

Finally today I sat down and just went to town on it and redid the whole edge. Hopefully it just needed some time on a stone and this takes care of it.
