Just the one run, back in the day when there was a handle material for everyone’s taste.
Thanks for posting the picture and production totals.2014 was the only run...but it was a good one! I managed to hang on to one for quite a while but passed it along recently. I, too, hope they run that pattern again sometime soon. I think a lot of us were hoping for a 222222 run this year

Regarding the second part of your post...That little thing that was done last year was in very poor taste in my opinion. Wonder if there will be a repeat this year?Mine’s black, with slightly red edges. It’s not remotely “brown”.
I voted for ivory white bone but they only sent those to people who have been on the forum a long time.![]()

It was a pretty cool little knife, I'm glad she's still enjoying it.
Wonder what differentiates smooth buckthorn bone from antique ivory bone? Both were used on this run and has smooth buckthorn bone been used on any other knives? Thanks for posting the picture and production totals.

Good questions. I don't know what the differences are between "buckthorn bone" "smooth white bone" "ivory bone" etc.Wonder what differentiates smooth buckthorn bone from antique ivory bone? Both were used on this run and has smooth buckthorn bone been used on any other knives?

My Buckthorn Bone seems to have a hint of translucency compared to Smooth White Bone, but I don't know if that's typical.

Case makes them that way, and I agree the spear isn't my favorite main blade. Still...222222 would be a fun model number, sure, but honestly I don't think that spear blade belongs to gunstock pattern, or any blade other than clip.
