I have a collectible GEC 23 Pioneer Trapper, it is a large knife that features two blades. It is a traditionally styled pocket knife with great eye appeal. It's superior quality and robust build means you can depend on it for years of use and its great looks will give you a sense of satisfaction every time you use it. The knife is large enough for some serious work. This knife features drop point skinner and spey blades made from 1095 steel with satin finishes. Both blades have a cutting edge of 3.375", nail nicks for opening and a half stop position. The overall length of the knife is 8.25". The graphic on the drop point blade illustrated that this knife is a limited edition "Model 23 Pioneer 1 of 250". The blade states that the knife was constructed in 2006/2007. Each bolster indicates that this is #61 of the 250 made. Overall, the knife is in excellent condition. The minor scratches on the bolster indicates slight wear from the previous owner. The knife comes with tube, and original wax paper. I'm not certain the cap is original as to me, it has unusual information. But then again, who fill those caps out? Dealers perhaps. Not much information on the knife itself. Previous owner told me that the knife handles were River Valley Green Jigged Bone. In the last couple of photos, one can certainly see the green. I'm selling for $215, I prefer payment via PayPal F&F. $225 if payment is by PayPal G&S. Claim the knife in comments, PM me to work out the payment details. Thank you for looking at this long post.
