As usual, I got too enthusiastic with a run and bought too many variations. Love these, but it makes sense to be practical. Not in any financial distress, etc.
Both 23s are brand new, never used, carried, etc. Only briefly unwrapped on my desk and then put back in the tubes. If you see any lines, or marks on the blades it is the oil, Some wiped off, but most is there. These exhibit some of the finest craftsmanship to come out of GEC. Robust action, as many have commented on. Overall, this introduction converted me to a larger knife than I usually use for daily chores. For camping/hunting this will be a first pick.
