Check your GEC 29 Osage Orange blade for the PPP orientation and vote in the Poll.

    My PPPs are reversed.

    Very COOL!
I have seen another etch applied in reverse, but not a PPP etch. I wasn't able to get a 29 so can't compare. Interested to see if there are others too.

There was a Grits w/ Butter in the #29 thread that apparently also had a reversed etch. Got to wonder how many are out there based on that.
    Mine is Osage.

Interesting. I had not considered that but I guess it makes sense. They probably run the blades in large batches and they are not assigned a knife until later?

The etching is almost the last step if not the last before packaging them up, even after the quality control inspection I believe.

FullSizeRender.jpg Had to go check, my GB&M is reversed also. Must have been a screwup with the early part of the run.

Reverse P - sounds like a cattle ranch. GEC should make it a label

I just checked my coffee-house acrylic and the 3 P's are correctly aligned.

Interesting results so far. Just as many normal as reversed.

Maybe normal PPPs will actually end up being more rare! ; )

    Reversed PPPs take the lead.

Is that because folks with the normal etch are not voting?

My maple 29 has the correct P orientation, is it just the grits and osage that got reverse etches?

Maybe the correct orientation was the error ? :D
