Pretty sure they are the same...ALVS (abalone laminated veneer sheet), LVS (laminated veneer sheet) I’ll check when I get home, but I’m pretty sure it says LVS. Could be wrong

Actually, after doing a little research, LVS is laminated Veneer Sheeting. Meaning it is made up of all abalone. ALVS is acrylic laminated veneer sheeting. Meaning it is part natural abalone mixed with acrylic to be more cost affective. That’s what I’ve gathered anyway. Apparently GEC made both?

Check out link below, despite how they are made up LVS is usually more expensive that ALVS.
