GEC 38 Special Kinda Like the GEC # 12 Powderhorn

It would be nice to see another release of Powderhorns, I'd definitely be in for at least one ;)

Joe - thanks for the pic comparison.

Duane - yes, I'd like to see GEC bring back the Powderhorns too.

A Powderhorn with the regular clip and a sheepfoot secondary would be awesome, especially in stainless.

Modoc ED Modoc ED - I'd be surprised if they do another run of the 12s. Those seemed to sit in dealer inventory a long time, and their price on the secondary market (I got all mine through the Exchange here) seemed a bit low, and the sales were slow (I bought a couple of them after the for sale post had scrolled to the second page.) I counted myself lucky that I really liked a less popular pattern.

These days since everything they make flies off the virtual shelf in 10 minutes, that might not be the case.

You make a good point, John and it's unfortunate if they never bring the 12's back. I've only ever owned one. A Blood Red single blade and I should have kept it. In my opinion, it was the best "Toothpick" pattern I've ever encountered. The proportions were perfect and just a little different than other Toothpick patterns.

You're right John in that they did sit on dealer's shelves for awhile and you're right again in assuming that they'd sell faster now since GEC knives do seem to "fly off the shelves" these days. I'd think they'd sell well - certainly well enough to justify another run of them.
