Mine didn’t go that far but it did make it to my town and then got sent 5 hrs away to Dallas and is now back again.

Mine has been stuck at my local Dist. Center for three days. TKC must have done something to piss off the USPS.

I really like the denim because it reminds me of aged overalls. The star shield is a neat tribute to Johnny Appleseed as well. The star is depicted in a lot of the stories of him spreading goodness across the land much like a star spreading its light. GEC really did a great job on these.

Was able to grab a beaver tail. Very very nice.

Where were those maple leaf shielded knives sold? I didn't see them on the GEC site or where I usually watch for drops.

Also, why is this release 383225?
Wouldn't it be 38P225 due to the curved blade?

I've been wanting one of these since the first run years ago before I even knew they were a thing, especially after seeing all the fine examples here. It's a very interesting pattern. I finally managed to get one from this year's run. Hoping to receive it later this week

Has anyone tried darkening the maple covers? Some of the threads recommend Aqua Fortis. I've just never had any experience with it.

As a green bone fan, GEC is really doing us right on this color lately.

Almost time to switch back to red!
