GEC 42 and other back pocket knives?

The Madison Barlow is the same size as the 42 pattern.

The madison barlow single blade makes a great back pocket knife.:thumbup:
Also the Mudbug mentioned earlier. I like the slim/flat profile of both for carry.

The #42 is indeed an exceptional knife

But for hard work, I think the Mudbug is even better.

Case recently made a 154CM Backpocket in burnt amber bone. It's very nice.

GEC 72 is 3-7/8". Little smaller than 42. But good work knife

Nice pictures. I have one 42 and like it. I have almost given up on finding an ebony 42lb for my LB collection. I missed out last time there was one available which wasn't hard to do. They went quickly.

I really do like the GEC ebony knives. I am fortunate enough to have a 65 LB in Ebony as well as a 72lb, and a 99lb. Perhaps one day they will get around to running some more so I can get one ( or two after wanting one for this long).

Agree, I think my ebony #72 is probably the finest knife of all my GEC's. Simple clean classic looks and nice proportions.

I carry this #21 Bull Buster in my back pocket every day. Its easy to get out of my pocket and I can pinch it open
