I have the following for sale.
GEC 44 in Gabon Ebony (441218). This one was recently purchased from a GEC distributor. It has not been carried or used for cutting but it has been handled to inspect it. It has good W & T with a pull of around 6 on both blades. Centering is good (see pic below) and there is no discernable side play in the blades. The knife has been given a light application of mineral oil. Comes with tube and paper.
Price - $89.00 SOLD
Remington 1992 Silver Bullet Guide Knife in Jigged Bone (R1253SB - serial #1512). This lock back knife is large at approximately 5 3/8 inches closed with an approximately 4 inch saber ground blade. This was purchased from a reputable dealer and is new old stock in excellent condition. It has the factory edge and includes certificate and paperwork. The jigged bone covers are beautiful and the bullet shield is sterling silver (shield has a few light scuffs). The knife feels very good in hand. Blade centering is off to one side but does not touch the liner. The action is smooth and the blade locks up TIGHT with no discernable vertical or horizontal play. My research indicates that these were made for Remington by Camillus in the U.S. using 440A blade steel (Rockwell of 56-59 per the paperwork). Includes box, certificate and paperwork.
Price - $69.00 > $49.00
Remington Large Stockman in Saw Cut Delrin with Carbon Steel Blades (9501). This knife is large at 4 1/4 inches closed. This was purchased from a reputable dealer and is new old stock in excellent condition. It has the factory blade edges and includes paperwork. The covers are saw cut delrin and the shield is nickel silver. The delrin covers are still fixed tightly in place to the liners and bolsters. The action is smooth with pulls of about 5 on all blades. Blades appear to be flat ground and have good snap but the long-pull clip and spey have slight side blade play. There may be slight blade rub consistent with the pattern but I don't see any. There is a slight line of corrosion or oxidation about 1/4 inch on one of the nickel silver bolsters where it meets the delrin cover (see pic below). There are also a few small, light pepper spots on the spine of the sheepsfoot and on a spring inside the blade well. My research indicates that these were made for Remington by Camillus in the U.S. during the 1990's using carbon steel (type unknown). The knife will be given a coat of mineral oil before shipping. Includes box, baggie and paperwork.
Price - $39.00 > $35.00
The first "I'll take it" followed up by rapid payment (within 30 minutes) will get the knives. I am not interested in trades at this time. Payment through PayPal, I'll cover the fees and shipping (USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box) to CONUS addresses only. I will not ship to NYC addresses. Must be at least 18 years old and in compliance with all state and local laws to purchase these knives. I reserve the right to sell to whoever I would like.
Please PM me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
