GEC #56 dogleg opinions

Well, I'm with Paul on this one.

I have two Barehead 56s a Tidioute in Amber Bone with Spear and another Spear Northfield in Ebony (1 of 25 so not that common) and the pull on these is in my book moderate to mild. I will say that the longpull Northfield is harder to open than the Tidioute with a crescent nick. This is because of the positioning of the nick, a well sited crescent is often easier on the thumb than a longpull.

The Tidioute was my 'car knife' for some months but got replaced by a stainless CASE Med stockman. These 56s are relatively thick heavy knives, but a fine interpretation of the pattern.

No, the pull on mine are not heavy, the Clip bladed models could be different I suppose. Try a 26 Pocket Sunfish, these are not nail-breakers but nail-lifters...:eek::D
