Blades and backsprings have a coat of Renaissance Wax on them. Otherwise Like New in Tube. What looks like scratches on the backsprings are just reflections.
On a scale of 1-10 with 1 meaning you have to push the blade closed, I would rate the closing snap as follows:
Clip blade = 6
Sheepsfoot blade = 4
Spey blade = 5
Opening snap is very good on all three blades.
Comes with its original tube.
