I traded for this with a respected member with the understanding that it was unused and that is how I still rate it. I can't find any peppering or rust. It's been coated in mineral oil since I grabbed it a year or so ago. I don't see any obvious gaps or cracks. The stag on the side with the "31" stamp is slightly lighter than the other. I'm not a stag guy so please ask if there's something you would like to know and I'll do my best. Springs are stiffer than my 81 moose, pretty similar to the 48 trapper from a few years ago.
Stamped 31 on the bolster, GEC shows 40 of these being made.
Terms: Price includes paypal fees and shipping. Trades I will consider are busse & kin (including used), fiddleback forge, wood cover GEC's or similar quality traditionals, especially ebony. More pics available upon request.
