With the upcoming release, I thought it’d be cool to have a thread for different examples from over the years. Ponies, owls, buckaroos…put’em out there fellas!

I’ll start with these two. I’ve let a handful of 68’s go over the years and these are the only ones left in the collection. I personally feel like the white owls are the cream of the crop, as far as 68’s go.

I remember seeing these when it first came out a few years back. Really was considering one in ebony for a blade delete, but was never sure if it was two springs, or set on a single spring with the blades canted.

One of my "in the casket with me" knives: #681212 in elk stag and 440C.

This one was an Special Factory Assembly (SFA) parts knife that I picked up from the store during the 2019 Rendezvous. It has the blades and configuration of the 2011 Tidioute White Owls and the covers of the 2013 Antique Yellow jigged bone Pony Jack. Good luck finding these on the Production Totals.

Did I buy that from you? I have one of those in my collection.

I've always liked the proportions of the #68 pattern!! I like Equal End patterns, a very old knife style, and GECs are great! I've kept a few over the years, but some have escaped!!
What remains is a respectable selection!!Owls and Ponies 1.jpg
