GEC 78 in cocobolo: One of GEC's best patterns in my opinion! I'm the second owner. Came to me as a bit of a user -- has been carried, used, and stropped/lightly sharpened. There are some faint marks on the blade and the cocobolo has a couple of light dings in it from pocket carry. That stuff didn't bother me so much, but it came with a fair bit of lateral play, which does bother me. I attempted to lightly tighten the pivot to see if that would address the blade play -- it did, but the centering was affected and the action was lazy. I sent it off to Glenbad to see if he could address the action and to do a bit of a spa service while he was at it. As expected, he did a great job overall -- thing looks beautiful and there's no play, and the action is better than when I tried to adjust things. The action is somewhat lazier on the close vs factory, but this is to be expected when tightening things up to address blade play. It was away for a bit, and I have since picked up some other slippies that have my attention at the moment, so along this goes. Still a ton of life in this, and these don't come up often. Knife only, no tube. Asking SOLD.
