I have another big purchase outside of knives, and since I have owned these I have picked up my micarta every time and left the jigged bone on my display stand. Other than some serious chicken eyein' and coon fingerin', the yellow jig bone has not done a thing. Admittedly, I am phoning it in on the pics with this one, but the video on my YouTube channel examines the knife in detail.
