Hi all,
Please be 21 to purchase and know your local knife laws. I reserve the right to sell to whomever I choose, but generally I deal with the member posting the first "I'll take it" here followed by a PM. Price includes PP G&S fees and shipping (US only please).
I was fortunate enough to score a Cherry Bone 85 on the exchange, so along this one goes. It hasn't been carried, but I have oiled/flushed the joint and worked to lighten the pull on the caplifter. When it arrived to me, the caplifter pull was ~9, and I had a lot of trouble deploying it without the help of a plastic tool. I worked it back and forth a few hundred times and left the caplifter halfway to the half-stop overnight with only a minor improvement in the pull. I ultimately ended up using some 2000 grit sandpaper to just barely knock down the tang of the caplifter, which has resulted in a stout 7-8 pull, but not a nailbreaker anymore. I did end up flitzing the bolsters a little too after this, which I think resulted in a nice "polished satin" look. Blade has a solid 6-7 pull with no wiggle. Only F&F issue I can see is a little void in the micarta near the bottom bolster, arrived from GEC this way. Comes with tube/pin.
Overall this is a fantastic knife, and I think now in better condition than I received it. It's ready to be dropped into a pocket and used! Asking sold Thanks for looking!
