GEC 85s in process - Clip Blades

Sweet stag, congrats!

I picked up a pickle green jigged bone Northfield #85 and have been carrying it since it came yesterday. Great knife, I like the spear on my Tidioute, but the big clip on this version is awesome.

I've been looking for a "real world" photo of that pickle green. I'm wondering is it's as dark as most dealer pics make it appear? Looks almost black. I do like the random jigging style they used.

Beautiful knife Rick. I'd prefer it with just a single blade though.

I'm going to be trying to find me an 85 EO jack.

Or maybe a single blade barlow when they get out of the factory.

Ed.....You and me both on the 85 EO..... I must say that Rick's 851212 is BEAUTIFUL ... Best looking stag I have seen in the run. Congrats Rick,

Peter

Great pictures of a really nice-looking knife Rick

I noticed that in dealer pics and they're not too far off. It is very dark indoors, the green shows up primarily in sunlight. Not too different than my sawcut dark green Tidioute Barlow. The jigging is really nice.

Once I'm done for the semester I'm going to have to do a mass photo shoot like I did earlier this year. I just don't get much time after work and on weekends to try and take halfway decent photos. We bought one of those all in one printer scanners and gave it a try. The shadows and depth of field are terrible. :(
