For sale are 2 excellent condition user gems from GEC. First is a #86 2AB wearing black and red linen micarta. This run had the absolute best walk and talk and action/pull of any GEC run in my opinion. Very, very faint side wiggle if you force it. Blade is centered. Thunderous, musical walk and talk. Edge was sharpened at the factory angle and is absolutely screaming sharp.
Second is a #72 Cody Lockback from the recent run wearing burlap micarta. I went ahead and buffed the bolsters/shield so they're shiny, and I think the knife looks better for it. The blade is slightly off to the pile side when closed but no where near rubbing. Very faint touch of up and down like most GEC lockbacks. Blade was a little low in the well so I put a small piece of leather in there for good measure before sharpening to prevent blade rap, and lo - the edge is pristine. Sharpened at the factory angle and absolutely screaming sharp.
Nothing wrong with either of these, only listed them for sale because I decided I wanted a set of summer tires. Don't have tubes for either one of these, and neither one is mint so that's just as well. But a nice deal on the pair together at $310. Preference to sell together, so let's hold off on "I'll take X if you split them up" for now. If you want the patina cleaned off of the 72, I'm happy to do that as well.
Lemme know if you have any questions. Thanks!
