This particular example is one of the nicest I've seen. The scales are nicely matched and the lighter tone in the middle to the darker edges is somewhat unique for this run. I like it a lot more than the solid black, which (IMHO) does not have as much character.
Bought new from a major GEC dealer. Only removed from the tube a few times & some of the oil removed from the blades for photos. No other use - not carried or even tested.
• Solid snap and half stop - not a nail breaker.
• Blade is nicely centered.
