Dumb me. That is what I get for not reading the whole thread. I hope the caplifter on the OP's 85 is easier than the one I had. Mine was a certified nail murderer. If I'm not mistaken, I believe he has an 85 Crown Lifter in Natural Cherry Bone from the exchange currently en route to the land of moose, syrup, and mounties.
I've got one - nice fat spear, dark cherry covers, whimsical bottle shield, not too big but not too small either - I say that's a pretty solid pick!![]()
Ahh man,you forgot about Bobby orr, there were alot of Canadians that thought he should of been with the maple leafs, but the majority of us were happy to share.how many Americans knew were Boston was before he showed up in town, now I'm sure you all know were Boston is.If I'm not mistaken, I believe he has an 85 Crown Lifter in Natural Cherry Bone from the exchange currently en route to the land of moose, syrup, and mounties.

I'm happy that you have one coming. The cherry red bone is striking. I think you will be happy.I'm kinda hoping it is a nail breaker,I have been using slip joints as hand rehab.it was how I got hooked, the the beauty of jigged bone and stag caught my fancy.
I tried to warn him earlier in the thread that the nick on the caplifter is set pretty close to the liner but the pull on the one I've got is very polite - right around a 5. Both the blade and lifter feel very much like a SAK in pull weight.Dumb me. That is what I get for not reading the whole thread. I hope the caplifter on the OP's 85 is easier than the one I had. I read that 3 times I’m still non the wiserFor those reading ,I now have a gec,and I now have a cap lifter,I actually have both in one knife.elgato posted a link in here the evening my question was posted, he said hurry take your pick.when I pressed on the link it was for 3 gec cap lifters, the 15,an 85 and a can't remember the pattern of the other.i wasn't sure if it was serious but I said the beer scout 1st then the cherry red bone.i then went back to the page he linked and noticed they were for sale and the beer scout was gone,I then proceeded and said will take the cherry red.i was notified that I was getting the cherry red 85 but, legato didn't realize why the(elephant)was in the living room.realizing I was a fricken danm dreaded Canuck a scorn on the exchange,an old 1812er.yes I had a relative who fought in that war,but he fought with a gentleness that is seldom displayed in war time, and I can assure you most Canadians did.all out of respect for our southern friends.but after much thought I believe legato watched canadian bacon and allowed john candy to warm his heart to fellow Canadians. And I am now waiting for it to arrive.people let's be friends ,is that not what rodney king said.i have buddies in Churchill right now keeping an eye out for bad guys coming into the Port trying to make it to usa.come on were partners.so next time you put a knife for sale on the exchange watch canadian bacon first.you may want to let a canadian in.
I've heard that "Canadian Smoke" is pretty strong stuff. This thread makes me more inclined to believe it.Well johhny I worked in construction or Bush work my whole healthy life,I have never been an educator.so I am not surprised you are non the wiser, from my literary work.i still have a few years yet to gain some writing skills.
FYI I helped/worked with the Canadian military in Bosnia.Hi oldy, I'm an east coaster and happy to see another Canuck on here. I hope you knives find you well. Let me know if you're ever looking for anything else, I have a pretty good stash built up
Don't mind Johnny, he's English and probably still pissed our grandparents left his behind.
I apologize, but I can't make hide nor hair of any of this.Thank ya johnnythefox,I liked when lewis compared millitaries standing to lawyers in canadian minds.
Don't blame you,I was replying to johhnyfox about his time spent under Lewis McKenzie.who was a canadian general in Bosnia.lewis was put on trial for an incident in Somalia during the trial he told the judge that Canadians view on the military was highly positive, but that our view on lawyers was at the bottom.it got a rouse and madeI apologize, but I can't make hide nor hair of any of this.![]()
I tried sending you a pm snodgrass, but I'm out of chances.i used all my 15 on buying my cap lifter.i messaged the administration about upgrading my account but haven't heard back.Hi oldy, I'm an east coaster and happy to see another Canuck on here.
