I have for sale today a couple knives and vintage micarta that was sourced for re-handles. These items were with a known traditional mod guy but he sat on them for over a year and a half so now I’m just going to sell.
1- GEC 71 bullnose denim micarta from 2017. Was a user for someone. I never used it. Action is great. Some patina to blade. No tube.
$175
2- GEC 93 talon brand new and has tube (not pictured)
This was an SFO for DWC watch forum. Beauty in jig bone. Never used.
$175
3- micarta stash- mostly vintage:
I collected and hunted down some good vintage micarta for re covers.
The far right is a large slab and is the only one that is not vintage. It was made by a known micarta guy on Instagram.
Next to it are 2 small slabs of vintage dark colored burlap micarta. Next to that is a large slab of vintage canvas micarta.
Lower column has a large slab of vintage linen micarta. Next to that are 2 small slabs of vintage butterscotch paper micarta from Brent Cramer from “line canvas paper” website. The next is the super rare and beautiful ivory micarta. This particular one was found and bought from Brent Cramer. It is “textolite” and has a copper backing. I had this sent with a cap lifter project to the well known mod guy and he only got as far as cutting some off and sanding a set of handles for a crown lifter. The sanded down pictures at the end of the album are not included - just show so you can see how nice the ivory color is.
$250 for the whole set
