conductor--smooth bone, 3&3/8; congress smooth bone 3&5/8---1/2 congress smooth ram,3&3/4 -- & tooth in elk at 4 in.
all smaller weight offerings that are fine for slacks. the conductor works off one spring & certainly has a clip large enough for cardboard boxes.---dennis

I like the size comparison, shows pretty well the difference between the two smaller ones that I usually find hard to guess, not being used by the "inch" sistem (besides half and full inch messurements)

the yellow ram's horn is awesome!

Thank you Dennis,

Another nice show of the variety of beautiful production knives available.

That smooth ram's horn on the half-congress is gorgeous. I've been thinking of getting a 62, but was debating between snakewood and stag, but I think I might have to go with ram.

Gets me hot under the collar, whets my appetite. Got a Tortoise Conductor on its way, getting impatient! I like the Easy Pocket Congress too. Top notch line-up as usual.

maxx sorry about the "inch" system, as you guys know i'm 72 & really need to make the brain conversion. guess i'll find a conversion scale so i can get used to a comparison.--dennis

That Conductor sure is sweet!Really like that smooth Ram on the Congress, overall, very nice selection!!-Jim

Dennis it's not YOUR fault! it's the proportions that make things harsh
I meant to say that the proportions in a pic help more than on the "paper" and wanted to say thanks  for the pics

I wonder why the makers don't use 3.xx (decimal) instead of proportions, 3 3/4" is understandable, divinding into quarters is pretty easy while eights are more brain challenging :D and much more if confronted with quarters LOL, ok we can do math of course but it makes things slower (for us euro folks maybe, you're used to it)

now I've got a better idea of what 3 5/8 and 3 3/8" are opposed to 3 3/4 and 4"

Dennis, is that 4 blade congress one of the rare GEC that have four different blades? That half congress looks indeed amazing in rams horn. Thanks for sharing

perhaps i can use the decimal system since i remember fractional equivalents . the millimeter system is the one everyone is using now , not sure but it may be taught in our schools. jampa all my congress gecs are the unique 4 blade configuration & the dealers still have them in inventory. really comparison pics are most reliable since talking about 4 in. model & 4.5 in. is really not a good communication . remember how massive the 4.5 pioneer is compared to the 4 in. toothpick.--dennis

Those congresses have 3 different blades :). The two main blades are the same.

swartz is correct ,the congress has 3 different blade configerations. i do'nt think i have ever had all of them open before.--dennis

Thanks for the comparison shot. Very helpful.

And the knives are great, too.

Dennis!
Im not to sure what it is about your posts...the knives, the person- Im thinking both...
Once again, awesome knives to look at, and once again the smooth Rams horn just blows me away.
Thanks very much, I always look forward to seeing your posts

jeff is that scout made with casien scales? looks a lot like ivory & if it is that material the knife is one of gec's rarest.thanks for the interest guys since i mostly have neglected the smaller gec offerings.--dennis
