Yes, that was me. I actually got dragged by a cow that was having calving problems. And, yes, I cut the rope with my hayn helper while being dragged. If that’s the price of admission, I don’t want to be a cowboy. ;)
Haha! I thought that was you :)
Good ol' hayn helper to the rescue!

This has me thinking, what do you call being dragged by a horse, or a cow in your case?
We have "keel hauled," "drawn and quartered," etc... In whaling times in New England, when the skiff was dragged by a harpooned whale it was referred to as a "Nantucket sleigh ride."
Just curious if there's a "cowboy phrase."

We always just said, "Drug behind his horse" or "Drug behind a cow".
"Drug" being the Western term I guess. ;)
Pinemoon Pinemoon - I don’t know the official term, in my case I call it “not paying attention” or “not being very smart”
I remember in the army there was the Duffle Bag Drag, so maybe it could be the Dumb A$$ Cowpoke Drag:p

Alright this one looks like it’s on it’s last legs. I’ll go ahead and call it.
