And here is my Girl's

IMG_0769.jpg

She has been using it since I gave it to her to whittle the best rendition of our dog Hudson that she can.

She keeps it in a pouch I gave her in her pocket.

Right now I'm teetering on either the Conductor or the White Owl
If any one has all three I'd love to see a side by side photo

Forget that. I want a picture of you teetering on a GEC knife. ;)

(Also interested in the side-by-side knife photo. :))

Nice too, and nice whittlin' there! I'm pretty partial to a particular Tuxedo I happen to have on hand, lovely small Case knife, the shape is similar to the Conductor by GEC but that one is a tad larger I think, so I'm (not physically teetring ;) ) but wondering just how the size thing works out between those three knives,

Geppetto - Conductor - White Owl

Beuller? Beuller? ??

Thanks, my funds are tied up saving for the new iPad, probably sell my first gen iPad to aid the quest!

It's being a very welcome addition to my watch pocket!

Don't have the 57, but the Conductor and W.O. are really useful knives: decent blades, compact dimensions and weight-good scale choices too i-Pad can't compete with THAT:D

Gary,

Hope these pics help, though the quality pales in comparison to the what others have posted. I put in the Tuxedo since you mentioned it. Top to bottom. (When photobucket updates they'll be pictured top to bottom) White Owl 68 in dead skunk arcrylic, Case Tuxedo, Conductor 33 in 2nd cut stag, and last is a 57 Geppetto in cocobolo.

White Owl & Conductor. They're the same thickness, near as I can tell.

View looking down on all four. The tuxedo got a little sideways on me.

If you're fond of the Case Tuxedo, I think you'll love the GEC Conductor. I had no idea how closely they compare until I saw mention of the Tux in your post. Let me know if you'd like to see more pics.

Just back tonight from my road trip to NJ, perfect images of what I needed to see, I'm liking that Conductor, if only I could get the Northfield without a bail on it, as I like the 1095 blades and also the logo just strikes me as nicer too.

Much thanks!

I'm with you on that bail issue, can't STAND them on a small thin knife, makes handling awkward. Then there's the scratch-factor.....

That sure looks nice in stag. I finally broke down and ordered one in ebony earlier today. I figured I should get to it before they are all gone. I was thinking about waiting until the one with the clip main blade comes out, but the wharncliffe looks pretty sweet and, well, I just wanted one.

Well dang if they didn't come out with a clip pointed one on April 2nd !!! looks very nice may have to pick up one when they start getting them in burnt stag, right now I've only seen them listed in wood or bone...but they do look lovely :)

Well, I really like this frame size and the new version with the clip point blade was just screaming my name, so I went and ordered one tonight ;) I may put this one up forsale, as I'm not a collector per se, but I may just keep it too as it is sweet also :) any one gotten the clip point version yet? I figure I use the small coping blade probably the most on this folder anyways.
