You're welcome. They're actually pretty mellow once you get to know them. The bee breeder we got them from here in the U.S. looks for calmer traits in the bees. Kinda like with dog breeders, they look for specific traits in the separate hives whether or not to multiply that hive. I was cautious when we first got them but after being around them for awhile I rarely wear a suit anymore unless I'm doing a deep inspection of the hive. That seems to upset them some lol

It is now 2024, and time for another photo contest giveaway. The rules are simple:

1. Please be an active member on the porch, let’s say 25 posts prior to entering the contest.
2. Post a picture that includes a traditional knife.
3. You may enter as many times as you like, but please limit your post to 1 picture per post so the votes can be properly accounted for. More than 1 picture per post will disqualify the post.
4. You may enter for another member, just say who you are entering for.
5. I will ship international as long as it is legal to do so.

There will be 2 knives in this giveaway. The winners will be decided 1st by the popular vote of the members of the porch. Whichever photo post receives the most “reactions” (likes, loves, etc) will be the 1st winner. A tie will be broken by most “wows” followed by most “loves.” So vote with your reactions.

The 2nd winner will be at my sole discretion based on whatever criteria I decide. Awesome knife, awesome background, humorous photo, whatever.

Ellis Wyatt Ellis Wyatt , these giveaways your hosting must be BF's best and definitely higly appreciated. Thank you very much!! Ohhh, and BTW - the dogleg you send me has found a permanent home in the kitchen drawer. It lives a good live amongst other pocketknives and is used often.
