Just a heads up... posted on their site... they are back open, and will resume shipping on MONDAY!
Very good news! Here is their post.
That's great news!
Let the overtime begin!
This is real good to hear, I'm glad the folks in Titusville are healthy and ready to make some knives. This should lift all of our spirits and make us spend some stimulus$$$ on stuff that matters, like pocket knives.
I'm glad they're able to restart production, and not surprised it will be in a limited capacity. I imagine it will be difficult / tedious to follow CDC guidelines.
Though I am sure it will still be a pain, I bet it will be easier for them to follow distance requirements than other businesses. I am glad to see them back up and running!
Welcome back GEC employees, you have been missed, great product by great people, above all, stay safe
So where's our forum knife?
Indeed good news!! Hopefully a few sheets of plexiglas, some gloves and masks, and they will be good to go!!
For sure, some stations are already far enough apart (I'd think) and I'm sure some employees already have to wear adequate masks.
Good to hear.
In my mind Mr. Howard and the whole crew are rolling around the GEC factory in plastic bubbles.
Yea!!! Congrats GEC!
Happy for them. Any Job is a necessary business imo. I’m buying a second H40 in next few weeks to do my Part
Game on. I’m excited that the GEC engine is running again.
I’ve saved a special chunk of stimulus money that is earmarked “being a responsible American by buying pocket knives”.
Cue a large eye roll by my wife and “at least you are predictable” comment.
