GEC-Lumberjack / Toenail / Roughneck / PHOTOS ADDED

That's a nice knife, Bigfattyt. But I'm not sure that I'd grill that bad boy... can't possibly taste good.

I'm about to get talked into a 36 also. LOL

One of my favorites. When the main is open, the handle is just right for my hands! Wide enough to really grab. Smooth ends, and the tang on the secondary is nearly sunk!

The Roughneck with the huge spear main, and clip point secondary blade calls to me!

Here's another. I know you guys don't like these phone app shots, but it's been fun for me...

Here are my pair. I don't carry them but the single blade model does feel pocketable, like carrying another wallet.

More pics...

Thanks for all of the additional photos folks. She just arrived and I don't see any real flaws. The scales are a tad sharp on 1 or 2 spots but other than that the f&f seems good, blade centered and workable pull. I am glad I liked this big one as you folks got me so fired up with your replies I ordered a Blood Red Bone GEC Northfield EO Sunfish that should be here by Saturday. This is a costly place to be. LOL
Thanks all. I will post up photos when the 36 arrives.

I haven't really been in "buying" mode for a while and my wife has taken all the "toenail" type knives in my collection and set them aside to "protect" them, but I gotta admit these GECs are calling to me..

I'd wanna get a set of all 3 with matching handles.

AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhh

Here's a link to a similar question I had a few months ago. Problem solved.....get one or two. I'm looking for another. !

That's exactly what I did. The 45 came in the other day. The 36 should be here today or Monday. When it arrives I will post pics of both.

Sweet knives and great pictures. Congrats.

So, how do they suit you?

Thanks. I am a big fella and accustomed to carrying (other) things, so to speak. The 36 is certainly easier but I think they will both carry OK. I ordered 2 of Mike's Custom cases and I plan to try carrying in that. I may end up getting or having leather slips made.
Surprisingly the EZ open is MUCH harder to open than the 45. I think it's EZ open in the sense of the cut out only.

Yeah, now that you mention it, the EZ open does have a pretty firm pull. I do like that the blade can be pinched open, though. Threads like this always get me looking for another one but I'm trying to hold off....
