Both are brand new and still in tube, never been used to cut anything. Tube, wax paper etc included.
In order of full transparency I want to state that the shield inlay on the Ironwood isn’t GECs cleanest work. A bit of extra space around the cutout, did my best to capture it. Does not effect the knife, not an issue if it’s becoming a user etc. but I know folks around these parts would want to know. Overall the ironwood material is nice, not pitch black but not highly figured either.
Burlap does not have issues. Satin bolsters on both have a few marks from shipping in the tube - nothing major. Both blades are sharp, snappy and centered. Ask any questions!
