May I ask how you did it? Grinder? DMTs? Other? :D
 
Thanks for the comments, guys. The profile on the GEC seems "right" now. Two nice lookin' knives there, Ed!

So-Lo, I used a double cut bastard file followed by a single cut mill file to get the belly off. DMT XC to get the bevel back, followed by normal progression of hand stones for final edge. (Started with a bench grinder ..... didn't go far at all before I decided I was headin' for trouble that way. The hand files were easy to use and control, and the bastard removed metal very quickly with way more finesse than power equipment).
