That turned out real nice. I'm not sure what you're slicing mainly, but if it's like fruits and veggies, lunch and snack type stuff at work like I do, the #72 spear lockback works surprisingly well. Doesn't have a pointy tip, but thinly ground and lots of belly. Wish they would either do a slip joint version of this one or a larger version of the #85 spear or a spear or a clip version of the larger bullnose/buster.

Eric, I like your #72 spear LB. May have to add that one to the never ending list!

This may fit the bill if you want a little more length. I think the Madison is 4.25" closed and a blade just over 3.5". This clip makes for a great slicer...
