Here is my 10 year old nephew’s Rendezvous collection. The 22 is the pattern he gravitated to. Thank you Rick Heynowwww for gifting him the Micarta version. That really made his weekend.

This was the one I missed out on. Single blade 77 Barlow SFA with the 2016 blade which means it has great walk and talk like all of the 2016 77’s.

the caboose motel is one of Titusville's attractions! you can even take the train tour i believe. its that or the cross creek golf resort/best western

you can also slum it in front of gec, but uh having only the porta potty as your toilet is not a great option. i think in 2022, i mustve spent 2 miserable nights camping out to be in the first 10. luckily the rain wasnt terrible and i had boots. also 45-90 minute stops for supplies were respected.

Notice the wood 86 on the bottom left. That one is interesting because it has what they called an experimental blade which basically means it has a stone washed finish to give it a user look. This is a first for GEC. It also has Virginia pine wood handles. This is the same stock of wood that GEC used for the rendezvous Whaler with Plymouth Cordage factory floor pine wood a few years ago. I did ask William Howard (Bill’s son) about it, and he did tell me that it wasn’t Virginia Pine as in the species but Pinewood that had come from the state of Virginia and had been used at the Plymouth cottage factory for flooring.

The same Plymouth Cordage factory/Virginia Pinewood was used on this 32 SFA on the right of this following picture.

Here’s a picture from the Rendezvous picnic yesterday evening. The picnic is held at Mystic Park a few miles outside of Titusville. They have a brand new pavilion with a kitchen now.
