I expect your Travel Time of 20 plus hours is mostly caused by your flying into Nowhere Land Dakota and the last plane that you will be on will be a single piston engine Bi-Plane . :p:D:eek:

Haha Harry- thats great! Oh man I just cant wait, the only sad part about this is Sue wont be with me on this trip- I will miss that lovely Lady.

Pauls part of the World is absolutely Stunning Harry- a lovely town called Valley City- its actually far from a city - but a quaint Country Town- I would shift there tomorrow if I could!
Sue and I absolutely Loved our last trip and we intend to do Canada again ( we then popped over to say gidday to Paul and his lovely family ) - Highlights were meeting our friends Joanne and Charlie in person after talking over the phone for a few years , as well as Paul, Nanc and his great family and friends - so this trip is just going to have some amazing and wonderful highlights for me, meeting other friends such as your self Harry at the Rendezvous is going to be a special part of all of this for me.

Being that you are from New Zealand , you certainly should know Stunning .I agree with you about Pauls world being stunning. We have driven across North Dakota from West to East and it truly is Stunning . Much Much More than most people expect . But then again , I am a country lover at heart . We also are disappointed that Sue is not coming with you . You are going to owe her big time . Be safe my friend .

My suitcase is about half packed, and my knives have already been shipped. I have a couple of stops to make along the way, so we are leaving tomorrow!
I thought I'd better get a hint in on the giveaway, before I leave my computer behind. Read carefully!:D
If I don't get back to this thread, I hope everyone possible makes it to the picnic on Saturday.
It is a time when a whole bunch of knife nuts sit around on long, picnic tables under cover, eat great food, and swap tales of those traditional knives we love so much!!
