GEC/Schrade autos?

Could someone email me the link to these SFO's? Been wondering about these for some time. Automatics are one of my passions. :D
...until I can get my Gold subscription back, my email is aschuetz2@gmail.com
Thanks......

Beautiful knives guys, love the covers that GEC is doing with these. I'd love to get one but Pennsylvania isn't friendly to autos so it would just sit in a display case. :(

Talking about traditional automatic knives in general; they have a great tradition in Solingen.

The member "Schmalhaus" made a review (video) about his Hubertus Automatic knife a review (Springer). I think it could be interessting for the guys that are interessted in traditional autos in general http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...r-Lock-Automatic-Knife-(-quot-Springer-quot-)

A nice video, I think.

Andi,

That is another really unique design. I'm not sure which I like better - the GEC/Schrade or the Hubertus. The Hubertus seems very robust.

It looks great Robert!! Mine came in too but I won't have pics until later this week. Fires smoothly and I can easily 1 hand open/close it.

$250 is really not bad considering the short run and somewhat complicated mechanism.I have a buddy that builds reproduction antique switchblades one at a time and they are much more expensive.Sadly i can't afford either one.Maybe one of these days.I really like the GEC's. ( :

The ebony is sweet! I'm still digging those swirls, though. ;)

Carl, good point. They are cheap knives (Camillus). My Dad carried his for a while when he flew, but it always opened in his pocket. He's not much of a knife guy, so he never replaced it. I loved it when I was a kid, of course. But yeah, Camillus made some amazing knives...you're right, though, the paratrooper orange is a disposable.

A couple quick shots...

Wowee, those are great! Same here, really wishing I'd been better prepared when these came out. I'll bet they're all going up in value on the secondary market... :/

There's a guy [dealer reference removed] has two up a rose wood and a tiger celluloid.

I really wanted one of those until I saw the $250 price tag. Too rich for my blood. :(
