Folks,
This one is Withdrawn....
6 Years ago I made this purchase of the 2011 Whaler with a plan. As it started out as a Cranberry Wine Jig bone as it arrived to me. Over the next (3) months, I sought out the finest Mammoth Bark Ivory possible that would be large enough for this frame. Material in hand, I had sent the package up north to the well known "Muskrat Man" a true specialist regarding custom folder work. Perfectly executed! This blade now is fitted with some of the finest Mammoth Bark IMO that I have ever seen. Also, not over done but some serpentine file work over the massive back spring and some mirrored polished blades. Once again, IMO this is one of the finest GEC Whalers that can be bought today....
These pics do not the knife justice... As it in hand is even finer..
Times are changing and it is time to move here on. This blade was intended to be an heirloom to my godson. However I have decided that the Platts Bros. I own in the same frame will take its place. If you like unique knives of days past, give it a thought, it would be an excellent fit....
As all my listings go, the 1st "I will take it will have the opportunity to purchase this knife" It must be immediately followed up for my paypal address and completion of payment. Failure to follow up promptly will be at my discretion and offered to the next in line. Thanks for understanding!
This knife is offered to you for ... which will include USPS Priority mail with Insurance. CONUS Only, No trades nor offers at this time, the blade is fairly priced at a loss to me.
