I have the following for sale.
GEC Tidioute 61 Congress in Black Micarta (613409). This was recently purchased from a GEC distributor and is new old stock. It is serialized 41 of 50. I have not carried the knife or used it to cut anything. There are a few very faint handling/storage scratches on the bolsters. There is no side play in any of the blades but there are some faint, tiny rubs in a few places. The pulls are around 5-6. The springs are flush in the closed position but ever so slightly proud with the blades open (perhaps a hair proud). Comes with tube, paper and COA.
Price - $98.00 > $89.00
GEC 73 Scout Trapper in Rodgers Green Tea Jig Bone with 440C blades. This was recently purchased from a former GEC distributor and is new old stock. It is a 2006 model and is serialized 126 of 250. There are a few very faint handling/storage scratches on the bolsters. The brass liners show a little patina here and there from long term storage. There is one significant spot of dark patina on one liner (see pic below). There is no side play in either blade. There are two very faint rub marks on one side of the drop point but the blade is nowhere near the liner. The pull on the drop point is about an 8 but the spey is about 6-7. There is no sign of blade rapping on the edges. However, I have not allowed the blades to slam closed. The springs are flush in the closed position but ever so slightly proud with the blades open. Centering is fairly good. The jigging is simply outstanding. Comes with tube and paper.
Price - $old
GEC Tidioute 25 in Burnt Stag (250209). This was recently purchased from a fellow forum member who stated it was LNIT. I am stating that the condition would be closer to LNIT with some issues. There are a few very faint handling/storage scratches on the bolsters. The burnt stag covers have pulled away from the liners VERY slightly in 3 areas near the bolsters (please see pics below). However, the covers are solidly in place and there is NO movement in any direction even when firm pressure is applied to the covers. There is no side play in either blade. There is a small zigzag scratch on the secondary blade (see pic below). There is also some "hazing" around the blade edges that I have seen on some older GEC's. The pull on the main blade is light/medium but the secondary clip is about a 7. The springs are flush in the closed position but the main spring is ever so slightly proud with the blade open (perhaps a hair proud). Centering is good on both blades. This would make a great watch pocket user. Comes with tube (no identification sticker) and very wrinkled paper.
Price - $old
Victorinox Silver Alox Pioneer X (0.8231.26US2) - The scissors work well in this configuration. I recently bought these NIB from an online retailer. Each comes with box (no paperwork was included).
Wenger Esquire Red Alox Money Clip Multi-tool (16916) - Aluminum Scales and Stainless Clip. Includes pen knife, file and scissors. I recently bought these NIB from an online retailer. Each comes with box and paperwork.
I have two of each and would like to sell them in two sets.
Price - Pioneer X (new) + Esquire (new) = $old
Price - Pioneer X (carried once) + Esquire (carried once) = $old
The first "I'll take it" followed up by reasonably rapid payment (within 1 hour) will get the knives. I am not interested in trades at this time. Payment through PayPal, I'll cover the fees and shipping. Shipping is USPS Priority Mail to CONUS addresses only. I will not ship to NYC addresses. Must be at least 18 years old and in compliance with all state and local laws to purchase these knives. I reserve the right to sell to whoever I would like.
Please PM me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
