SOLD to shkbly
Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute #73 Scout, used but in great condition, $50.
I just acquired this one, and while it's a great knife, it won't get any carry time. I hate to let it go, but I have a few others on my list, and since Scouting, camping and hiking seasons are coming, I figured I'd offer it up and see if someone else might like to check out a user in almost new condition.
Made in 2007; the bolster is numbered on the mark side, #072. Chocolate bone scales - on the pile side, there is a small section chipped off just above the main rivet; it shows up in the bottom pic. Blades are carbon steel, and the etches are still clear. There is a small dark rust spot near the etch on the main blade, I did my best get it in the pic. There are also some dark spots on the edges; not many, and they'll be gone with the first sharpening (since I won't use it, I'll let the next owner decide how he/she would like to remove them). Both blades have half stops, and really strong pulls, in the range of 8.5-9. No need for a lock on this one, that's for sure.
I have the tube, but no paperwork.
Trade possibilities: (users okay, if they're in good [not abused] condition)
- Boker Carver's Congress
- Case #3265CV Folding Hunter, maybe Case #3347CV Stockman
- GEC "Dead Skunk" acrylic handle patterns
- Spyderco C91YL Pacific Salt: yellow handle, plain edge only
Da rules:
- Buyer must be 18 years old; it is the buyers responsibility to follow the laws in your area.
- USPS Money order only.
- Shipping to U.S. addresses only.
- I will ship USPS Priority mail, with delivery confirmation. (If we trade, I expect that you'll ship by the same method.)
